journalism is not just a means of occupation but it makes a literate person "educated" in d real sense.

there are so many practises that are equally practised by the educated as well as the uneducated.
there are two type of people:- those who pray to god but dnt follow rituals and those who are so focussed in following the rituals that even forget the real meaning of them.

today is guru purnima and frm tomorow, "saawan ka mahina'" wil start and shiv-puja wil b performed by shiv bhakts. hundreds of litres of milk wil b used in bathing "the holi shivling". the inflation is on the historical rise. there are thousands of children who dont even get the taste of milk since they come on earth. the "tracking hunger" series by hindustan times has shown very cruel faces of hunger that can bring tears to even the rock-hearted.

there are many more exampes of such rituals. these practises cant be stopped by education because faith is more stronger than science. especially in indian context, people in india belief in different religious gurus very blindly and strongly. they follow their ordes without even questioning. if they tell these logical things to their followers than onl there is some hope. but they themselves need to agree to these logics first.

saawan ka mahina,
pawan kare shor,
jiya ra re jhoome aise ,
jaise bun ma naache mor.
happy saawan!
jhoola jhoolna mat bhoolna.
