NEW ATTRACTION OF MATHURA –THE AWESOME VAISHNO DEVI TEMPLE - A MUST WATCH

A surprise and a double treat has been received by brijwasis:  The Vaishno Devi temple on NH-2 at Chhatikra, Mathura.

The temple is a stricking resemblence to the beautiful preet vihar temple of delhi. But it is a double treat as it is also inspired by the Akshardham temple as well.

The 140 ft Ma Vaishno Devi idol under the open sky attracts tourists from a far away sight. It is a magnificient work of art with mouth-dropping details and beauty. The one foot deep water flooded cave is the best part of the place.

With beautiful individual idols of all nine incarnations of ma durga , the cave is a treat to the visitors.  Beside it, the wish tree in the centre of the water filled surroundings, is already heavily laden with chunnis and kalawa which are signsof the wishes made by the folllowers to the mighty goddess.

As soon as one enters the place, one cant ignore the marble flooring inspired by peacocks. It is a innovative design worth watching. The wall with krishna-radha and cows around is also a pleasurable view.  The whole temple is a heaven with water flooded all around, including fountains and falls.

Do not miss the tasty ‘langar’ worth just 15 bucks. The main ‘asht-dhaatu’  idol in the circular temple is the main idol of the temple. The design , technology and the wall decoratives are entirely a new innovation which has never been seen in any temple till now.  The picture gallery will surprise you by the pics taken at various stages of temple construction. The complete structure is made of RCC and is an engineer’s best work. Spread over quite a large area, the temple attracts 10 to 15 thousand tourists everyday. The premises also include a.c. guest rooms for those interested.

The temple has fully working , best quality, coloured cctv cameras all over;  covering each and every corner of the temple.  if you have a jugaad , you can even see the working of its cctv control room in its administrative office.  Since the tight security and item submisssion procedures take time, so either come with some extra time or better keep all your blongings like mobiles, cameras, belts, sleepers in your vehicle itself.  Parking is free as one can park his car all along the road without any hesitation.

The temple is the latest hotspot in mathura and is already a favourite. Do pay a visit if you want an entirely heaven like experince. It aches a bit as cameras are not allowed.
