Ladies coach – the sea of female serenity

 A ladies compartment is always something special. It’s just not a section of population sitting separately for security reasons but it’s an entire different world. The other more prominent section will be surprised by a glimpse of this world.

Taking an example of the ladies coach of Mewar Express, I was travelling from Delhi to Mathura, my home. There was a serene peace spread all over as compared to the general coach. No rude boys shouting and laughing at the top of their voices, no eve teasing,  no smelly socks,  no blocking the way by office returning men playing cards and no use of foul language which is often used without any necessary requirement.

Coming back to the ladies coach, there are kohl-eyed college girls as well as employed ones. Each one is busy with herself; be it ears plugged with headphones of music player or a girl cropping and shaping her nails. There are two friends glued to their laptop watching their pics and someone like me peacefully engaged in writing my experiences on paper. One more thing common among girls is Slice. Yes, whether in train or anywhere else, girls always prefer Slice – the mango drink rather any coke, pepsi or thumbs-up.

Not only girls, there are mothers too with their naughty kids. But a sick lady catching up with sleep while her kid safely playing around, is possible only in a ladies coach.

Conclusively, a natural sense of civilization, etiquettes and peace prevails in God’s best creation- Female. Modern or not, stylish or not; women are more close to the definition of a better human being and the men who ever travel in a general compartment must be agreeing on my point on basis of their experiences.

Hats off to this serene existence of a female.
